"Quartet" - SEASON CANCELLED - Garrick

This week the Garrick Theatre Club in Guildford, WA - was all set to open their doors to the theatre loving public with their current season of "Quartet", a comedy written by Ronald Harwood and directed by Dale James.

Due to unforseen circumstances the show has been cancelled and the Garrick Theatre would like to apologise to all their patrons for any inconvenience caused.

The cast, crew and club are devastated. As soon as I am given permission I will notify everyone surrounding the circumstances.

Garrick's next production is "Next of Kin" written by Hellie Turner and directed by Chris Heald which will open April 1st.

Cheers

Hi Mel,

Are you able to talk about this yet?

Just curious.

Thanks,

Re:

The story going around the traps is that Dominie walked in on opening night and told them the show couldn't go ahead, as someone else holds the professional rights for the production in Perth and will be putting the show on in a couple of months' times. Allegedly, of course.
