The 18th WA Screen Awards
The award ceremony runs for 2 hours and then drinks and canapes (included in the ticket price) will be served in the Circle Bar from 9.30-11.30pm). After party venue will be announced on the night.
The Film & Television Institute (WA) is proud to present the 18th WA Screen Awards, a showcase event that exhibits, celebrates and promotes the achievements of the WA screen industry, at all levels, to the wider industry and general public.
The 18th WA Screen Awards will recognise screen achievements during the 2003 calendar year. As WAÂ’s premier event on the local screen industry calendar, this gala occasion will feature special guests from the Australian & international screen industry.
Special guests in recent years have included; Tony Ayres (Director of AFI Award winning Walking on Water), Martin Brown, (the producer of Moulin Rouge), Barry Otto (Strictly Ballroom, Oscar and Lucinda), David Wenham (Lord of the Rings, Seachange) and Simon Lyndon (Chopper, My Brother Jack). Audience members on the night will also include WA filmmakers, writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, actors and industry leaders.
Sponsored by Screenwest, Lotterywest, ABC Television, Kodak, AAV and Matilda Bay Brewery.
