Last night's 30th Annual ITA Finley Awards was indeed a fabulous night... although numbers are still being counted - the attendance records were fabulous compared to more recent years.... The Penrhos Performing Arts Centre can hold approximately 730 patrons - the ITA members, clubs and guests did well in endeavouring to fill the auditorium - with an estimated 300 people attending the gala event for WA community theatre.

The feedback has been wonderful, the entertainment and talent on show - outstanding !!

Congratulations to all nominees and award winners. Congratulations to the clubs who performed and to our guest performers. Congratulations to our hosts and guest speakers making this 'night of nights' truelly a very memorable one. Congratulations to everyone who attended - your attendance, your support and camaraderie is indeed appreciated and well noted. It was fabulous to hear all the clubs cheer on their own productions and friends alike. It really shows that the passion and talent within WA community theatre is more than ever alive and well.

Let's endeavour to make next year even bigger, brighter, bolder and somehow surpass the brilliant evening we all experienced last night.

Cheers
Melz
