Free Introductory Workshops in Melbourne

Australian Centre Of Performing Arts will be offering free introductory
workshops during the first three weeks of January. The introductory
workshops will cover an overview of Acting and Improvisation techniques.

An introduction into various acting styles eg; METHOD (developing and
expressing an individual's internal processes through characterization).
The workshops will also explore the non naturalistic / presentation
approach eg; Commedia dell' arte, Farce, Melodrama etc.

Improvisation Technique - develop spontaneity (natural organic
expression) through non linear concepts, eg; Mime, Scenes to music,
Physical / Vocal expression, story telling etc.

Workshops for Adults will be run on the following dates:
Saturdays 4pm-6pm
Mondays 6pm-8pm
Wednesdays 6pm-8pm

Workshops for Teens will be available on the following dates:
Mondays 3pm-5pm
Wednesdays 3pm-5pm
Saturdays 1pm-3pm

Workshops for Children from 8 to 11 years of age will be available on the
dates below:
Mondays 12pm-1pm
Wednesdays 12pm-1pm
Saturdays 10am-12pm
