Interested in a play dealing with today's obesity crisis? I have just completed a one-act on this subject entitled UP AND DOWN THE BATHROOM SCALE. Austere set requirements with cast of 5M, 4F. The actors/actresses in the roles of the human guinea pigs must be way overweight and between the ages of 30 and 62. The play should run approximately 65 minutes.

Brief Synopsis: A group of individuals suffering from obesity volunteer as guinea pigs for a pharmaceutical-research project that is testing a new super diet drug. If the program is 100% successful, the pharmaceutical company promises to pay the volunteersÂ’ taxes for life. However, three weeks into the clinical trial everything plummets into absolute calamity. Thus, proving the old adage that when things go wrong, they go wrong all the way.
