Big HOO HAA special: Broadway Musicals!
Sat, 9 Oct 2004, 02:11 amThis Friday (15th Oct) the Big Hoo Haa crew are stepping down at the Fremantle Hotel and inviting special guests from the WAAPA Musical Theatre Course to run the entire night in the style of a Broadway Musical!
Chrissie Best (used to be a regular Hoo-Haa player, now teaches improv at WAAPA) and her 'Wunderkids' took over for an hour during our 24-Hour-History-of-The-World Hoo Haa last month, and were so brilliant we've invited them back to do their own show.
Although this is a special theme event, as far as I know the ticket prices are going to be the same as our regular nights...a bargain $10/8.
Also...fans of comedy should get to the Comedy Lounge at the Hyde Park Hotel on the Thursday prior (14th) to see some of our Hoo-Haa crew challenge some of the regular stand-up comedians to a night of improv, stand-up, and hilarious mayhem.
And wait, there's more..! This weekend we are doing some interior construction on what is to become a NEW comedy venue in the centre of Perth in the very near future! Watch this space...
