Free Voice Workshop - Saturday, Oct 23 ***MELBOURNE ONLY***

Objectives:
To refine, simplify and strengthen the voice skills for performance.
On completion of this subject students should be able to:
Conduct an appropriate solo and company warm up
Utilise their vocal skills smoothly and sensibly through rehearsal and performance
Have a sound knowledge of using their vocal skills flexibly
Be able to adapt vocally to demands of style and space
About the Course Co-ordinator:
Odette graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1997 and has since been working as a professional actor and voice over artist here in Australia and overseas. She is a resident artist with Metropolis Sound Studios and teaches voice over technique. She has performed for LaMama, Melbourne Workers Theatre, NYID, Playbox, and Theatre@risk. Her television credits include; State Coroner, Stingers, Eugenie Sandler P.I. and The Secret Life of Us. She has just completed a certificate in Screen Production with RMIT and made her first short film, ‘Aphrodisia.’ She is currently rehearsing a production of ‘Arabian Night’ with Theatre@risk to open at 45 Downstairs in February.
COURSE AND WORKSHOP NUMBERS ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU BOOK EARLY TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE.
The first introductory session is free and will be held on Saturday, October 23 from 3pm to 5pm.
