Greetings All...

Yes - The State One Act Drama Festival is finally here...

This Friday evening marks the opening of the ITA DramaFest/YouthFest 2004 - a weekend which will showcase a marvellous array of talent.

This year it will be held at Melville Theatre Company - Cnr Stock Rd and Canning Hwy - Palmyra. The Mayor of Melville - Mrs Katherine Jackson will open the festival and Friday evenings entertainment will directly follow - all starting at 8pm.

Saturday morning will be the YouthFest section at 10am and then sessions will continue at 2pm and 7pm with DramaFest entries. DramaFest continues on Sunday at 10am and 2pm and on Monday - our adjudicators - Mr Stephen Lee and Mrs Kerri Hilton will present their dissertation and awards at 11am.

DramaFest door entry:- $10 session or $5 a play
YouthFest door entry:- $5 session or $2 a play
Programmes for the weekend are $2 each.

Some of the shows presenting themselves this weekend already performed last weekend at the South West Festival and everyone is on a high !! However DramaFest is proud to present many other clubs who have not showcased their work yet which allows for a fresh and varied showcase and competition. And as we all know - no show is ever the same a second time round... every performance is different!!

Come along and support your club, friends and community theatre.

If you would like further information on the weekend then contact myself on the below details...

Cheers and see you there :-)
