Slight Leakage / The Unkindness of Strangers
Tue, 21 Sept 2004, 12:58 pmThe Blue Room Theatre is gearing up for the opening of a new double bill by local writer Matt Penny!
Slight Leakage and The Unkindness of Strangers.
Slight Leakage - Being a hospital orderly certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, but for Tom and Fred the job does have its perks; regular work, union rates, paid holidays and being surrounded by ladies in white cotton uniforms.
Whilst being confronted with whatÂ’s left of Mr. Powell's bowels is not the most enticing job in the world, someone has to clean it up and these boys know just how to handle it. ItÂ’s not all chardonnay and foccacia. Tom also has a very unique sideline 'servicing' older ladies. Much older ladies.
The Unkindness of Strangers is based on the original idea by James Healy. Heading home, Alex decides to take what he thinks is a short cut. Instead he ends up in a suburban nightmare, driving around streets that look the same, with no signs and no way out.
Featuring performances from Josh Crane, Peter Clark, Katrina Bonds and Don Smith.
SPECIAL ITA DISCOUNT: $10.00 on Thursday 23rd Sept and Tuesday 28th Sept with password "AJAX".
This is the last production for the Blue Room Winter Season. Shows are filling up so don't miss out. 2-WEEK SEASON ONLY!
Slight Leakage / The Unkindness of Strangers runs from Wednesday 22nd - Saturday 2nd October. (Tues- Sat) at 8pm at The Blue Room Theatre. Bookings on 9227 7005 or office@blueroom.net.au. Tickets $18 full/ $12 concession.
Cheers
