Well, cooler than it was before....with the introduction tonight of The Big Hoo Haa comedy improv show: upstairs at Rosie O'Grady's pub, cnr Canning Hwy & Banksia Tce, @ 8.30pm.

It'll probably be pretty busy tonight...sorry, but I'll be getting there early to secure one of the limited seats. (The talented Steve Hearne will be maestro tonight).

See you there!

Cheers,
Craig

Even though I'm closely associated with this show, I can give tonight an unbiased thumbs up...it was great to sit in the crowd and watch the terrific comedy of Sam Longley, Damon Lockwood, Claire Hooper, Brett Turner, Kerry O'Sullivan, Andrea Gibbs, Vito De Francesco and musician Steve Hearne.

There was a largely 'virgin' crowd...about 3/4 of the nearly 100 patrons had never seen the Hoo Haa before and had a great time. The manager of Rosie O'Grady's was totally stoked with the show and the turn-out.

The function centre is a pretty good venue for us...there's a bar operating at the back of the room as well as downstairs - where they also do pretty good pub meals. There was a tiny bit of interference from the band downstairs when we had a few rare quiet moments...but generally the laughter of our crowd drowned out any other noise.

There were chairs, if not tables, for most of the punters...but parking was at a premium.

Next show in South Perth will be 3rd September; until then it's every Friday at the Fremantle Hotel... and don't forget our next Special Event will be a 24 Hour Hoo-Haa on September 10th & 11th...!

Cheers,
Craig
