"The Sleeping Prince" ON NOW

"The Sleeping Prince" is ON NOW at the Garrick Theatre, Meadow Street, Guildford.

This "occasional fairy tale" is written by Terrence Rattigan and directed by Ailsa Travers.

The show is set in the Carpathian Legation in London on the eve of King George V's coronation in 1911. The Prince Regent of Carpathia invites an attractive American chorus girl for what he hopes will be an illicit fun evening. However he get rather more than he bargained for.

Many people will remember the film of the play - "The Prince and the Showgirl" with Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe in the two lead parts.

Starring:- Nyree Hughes, Mike Haynes, Paul Williams, Karen Hall, Luke Taaffe, Errol Bugarin, Ronnie Vickers, Melanie DeCull, Amanda Woodhams, Brian Hansord and Laurence Travers.

If you haven't been to the Garrick Theatre before it is behind the Town Hall and parking is on Meadow Street and in the carpark behind The Stirling Arms Hotel.

Shows start at 8pm and tickets need to be picked up by 7.45pm.

Dates remainding - July 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th , 17th
and today - July 4th there is a matinee performance with curtain going up at 2.30pm.
