Lysistrata: A Women's Translation
Tue, 15 June 2004, 05:05 pmHi All,
Blak Yak Theatre will stage it's next production, Lysistrata: A Women's Translation by Drue Robinson Hagen, in late July in the Studio@Subiaco Theatre Centre. This very recent adaptation of Aristophanes' classic comedy uses an hillarious battle of the sexes as a vehicle for some poignant and relevant messages about human nature and war. Watch this space for more info, coming soon....
Also, as a result of venue and date changes we have lost a couple of cast members. We are looking for to women for the Chorus (Greek not Musical). If you are interested pleae contact me at jemmagurney@hotmail.com
Cheers,
Jemma Gurney
