Doozy Questions - INTERACT 2004
Wed, 2 June 2004, 11:18 pmHere are some dooozy questions asked of me regarding the ITA Interact 2004.
Belief Acting:
Where one learns how to believe they are that character, rather than acting that character.... a deeper level of truth in your acting. To convince others you must first convince yourself!
Alexander Technique:
The Alexander Technique improves performance activities such as acting, playing a musical instrument and singing. It helps to improve vocal technique and focused concentration as well as memory (all of which are very desirable skills for Actors!)
Come To Your Senses:
Structured improvisation, working in teams, with partners, indivicually, theatre and drama related games and exercises, developing proper dialogues, working with script, working with space (physical, big and confined), voice exercises, working with music and puppets, identifying body language, sense memory etc.,
INTERACT 2004 - starts this Saturday, June 5th - at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre, Canning Road, Kalamunda.... (positioned next to the Kostera Oval and Kalamunda Snr High School..)
$60 the full weekend - that is 8 workshops (normally - $120) - that's half price.... All workshops conducted by W.A. professional artistic leaders...
