It with sad condolences I write to inform you all that long time active member, actor, adjudicator and dear friend to so many, Peter Lane died on the weekend.

At the Garrick Theatre he would be best remembered for his role as 'Big Daddy' in "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof"

Deepest sympathies, love and warm hugs to Peter's wife Marian and family.

Does anyone else out there have some great memories of Peter they would like to share on this forum???

Re: Peter Lane - R.I.P.

I did not know Peter especially well, but I do know that he was beloved of many as a tireless worker in community theatre. And as an actor of distinction.

I extend my personal condolences to Marian and the rest of their family.

Warmly,

Jason Seperic

Re: Peter Lane - R.I.P.

I worked with Peter in 'Conduct Unbecoming' years ago, it shows what an impact he had on me if I can remember him so well after all this time. He was always helpful and very approachable.
Both my wife (who looks after their pets) and I extend warmest sympathies to his family.

Re: Peter Lane - R.I.P.

I'm with you Mel, the first production I saw at Garrick was " Cat" I had the the honour of working both Peter and Marian. He will be sadly missed by people that appreciate the time and commitment he put into Community Theatre.
A friend of the Arts has moved up to a glorious Stage.
My most sincere condolances to Marian and Family.
