the girl who saw everything

Can anyone help me? I'm in yr 12 and doing a monologue from 'the girl who saw everything' by Alma De Groen for the scripted monologue component of my TEE. The monologue belongs to the character Liz. I haven't yet been able to get a copy of the play (but am trying) and was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on the play or the character - maybe even stuff that i won't get from the play... or any advice on how i can really nail it !
