Shanghai Lil Productions Inc. and Make Time to Talk present "Conundrum"
Conundrum: A sort of riddle turning on some odd resemblance between things quite unlike; an enigmatic person or thing.
BillyÂ’s a mad fisherman, Jenny is selfless and caring, ShellyÂ’s smart and talented and Helen knows how to assert herself. But can these people survive the silence, the secretsÂ…the tribulations of life? Do they want to?
Be inspired and disturbed by the stories of four people as they struggle to take control of their lives. Are they ordinary peopleÂ…or heroes? Are they confronted with extreme situationsÂ…or normality? Witness these local stories, based on actual events and told with vigour and sensitivity.
Lucy Eyre was compelled to write "Conundrum" after interviewing four people from different walks of life, who nonetheless have one thing in commonÂ…the result is a dynamic and breathtaking theatrical event that unveils the dark side of WA.
Shanghai Lil Productions Inc is dedicated to creating innovative and adventurous theatre and is pleased to have the opportunity of producing the world premier of "Conundrum", a captivating slice of life.
