Pub Shorts Goes to the Dogs
Fri, 2 Apr 2004, 03:00 pmHello Aminal Lovers!!
Want to see some great theatre and help some adorable homeless puppies at the same time?
The Dog's Refuge Home is having a fundraiser on Monday the 5th of April. For $20 you can see Skimpy Theatre's much lauded and hilarious "Pub Shorts" and know you are supporting WA's oldest puppy dog orphanage.
Just rock up to The Railway Hotel, 44 Tydeman Rd, North Fremantle before 8pm on Monday the 4th with your $20. For further info call the Dog's Refuge Home on 9381 8166.
You must admit, $20 for a night of good theatre and several karmic points isn't a bad deal!

taking a spell
Mon, 5 Apr 2004, 06:05 pm..Just wanted to point out that I'm not involved in any part of this proofreading crusade....
I didn't see 'aminal' as being a mistake, but being a cute way of talking about your favourite pet, as pet owners often do.
And 'spellig' is ironic, but wasn't it deliberate irony?
Hmmm...what sort of bait can I wave here for someone else to pounce on like a herd of elephants? Perhaps a mixed metaphor?
Meanwhile, go and see Pub Shorts, and let us know what you think.
