Final BIG HOO HAA ever! (for 2003)
Fri, 28 Nov 2003, 09:54 pmReminder that there is NO show tonight at the Freo Hotel....but come along tomorrow night (Saturday the 29th) for the END OF YEAR SPECIAL.
We'll start the night with bigger teams than usual, but as the games progress teams will be losing players...and items of clothing...in the bizarre concept of "Strip" Hoo Haa...!
Tickets are still $10/8 so get there early if you want a table!

Sun, 30 Nov 2003, 03:00 pmYou KNOW it was a big night when the bar in the next room has run out of glasses, because the venue is so crowded that the barstaff can't even squeeze through to collect the empties! Once again, sorry if we had to turn anyone away, every inch of floor space had someone camped cramped in it!
Classic moment...Sean Walsh standing solo in front of a 150-odd crowd, no script, no director, no preparation...and no clothes apart from his underdaks - the classic actor's nightmare of being naked onstage without knowing what was supposed to come next...he of course pulled it off in a grand style. (The JOKE of course...what were YOU thinking..?!)
Damon Lockwood is a masterful MC, well able to hold the spotlight and create the madcap atmosphere, but always supporting the team players, who were all on fire last night. Congrats to Sam, Libby, Xavier, James, Claire, Vito (groovy boxers!), Brett and Sean for last night and for their consistent appearances throughout the year. Looking forward to getting our Friday nights back for a few months, but we'll be back in late January with all our other great players....look out for us then.
