Jim and Sam share a homeless spot on the side of the road with their thumbs out. Through the night their drifting lives are revealed as the older and the younger hitchhiker move towards an understanding that may bring hope to their dreams.

A rather obsessive control freak has his ordered world upset by the arrival of a stranger who claims to be having an affair with him.
