Men needed for South Pacific
Fri, 26 Sept 2003, 12:04 amDarlington THeatre players NEEDS men for the chorus in a production of South Pacific! Rehearsals have just started, the season will run from November 12 for 4 weeks, 4 shows a week. (See details under Darlington Theatre players elsewhere on this site)
You get to sing "Nothing like a dame" and hang around with glamourous chorus girls in bathing suits or grass skirts. (A family show, obviously)
Seriously, if you're interested in performing in a big show in a comfortable theatre, with an enthusiastic cast and a very experienced director, please call Neroli Burton on (08) 9299 8018. You can be guaranteed a full house most nights - seats are selling fast already.

Fri, 26 Sept 2003, 03:48 pmHave you seen the movie? The Seabees (sailors) wear worn out/ embellished, ripped, etc gear, except for the officers. They're stuck on a tropical island with nothing to do except hang around on the beach and watch the nurses. So, sorry, no "proper" whites for the chorus.
