"There's nothing like a good Irish play.....like a warm bath the stories envelop you....."

The Irish Theatre Players' 1 Act Season, "Three for the Road", performed last night to a full house bordering on overflowing!!

The season runs for another 3 nights (Thursday 11th, Friday 12th & Saturday the 13th) so if you haven't already booked..........then book now!!! You won't be disappointed!

A brief synopsis of each play follows:

"The Last Bus to Contrition" written and directed by Noel O'Neill.

A drama by local actor, playwright and director Noel O'Neill focuses on three girls waiting on a bus to take them to contrition. Strain is put on their relationship through the confessions made by each girl.

"Thirst" directed by John Dunne.

A comedy by Myles Na Gopaleen is a story of how three men drinking after hours in a pub in Dublin deal with a local Garda (policeman).

"The Seaweed Baths" directed by Patrick Abbott.
