New show is a must see

‘Sticky Apple Legs,’ an emerging theatre company, is about to launch their group by presenting a world premiere performance, ‘Sticky Ballerina Legs.’ ‘Sticky Apple Legs’ aims to develop high quality, low cost, original performances, and assist new and emerging artists achieve their goals.

This production is entirely puppetry based, bringing through various styles, such as black theatre, origami, and ‘Muppets,’ to present a unique perception of relationships in the world.

We are seeking an audience for our preview showing, at which point we would like feedback on how to improve our performance. Tickets are free, however, we appreciate bookings. They can be made at stickyapplelegs@yahoo.com.au.

It is a performance for ages 10 upwards, and it will be previewed at the David Williamson Theatre, St John Street, Prahran on the 12th September at 12pm and 7pm.

The official opening of ‘Sticky Ballerina Legs,’ will be on the 26th September, as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2003, at 7pm, North Melbourne Town Hall. Further performances will be on the 27th, 28th, 30th of September and 1st October, at 7pm. Tickets are $15 adult and $10 concession. Bookings can be made on 8412 8777.

This will be a fun show to see, and is G rated, so kids, teens or adults, will enjoy this production.
