Big Hoo Haa tonight
Fri, 8 Aug 2003, 03:57 amMeanwhile, while we're all making sure we don't miss out on DRUGS starring half the Hoo-Haa team, tonight the Big Hoo-Haa kicks off for August with the other half of the team...Sam Longley, Vito di Francesca, Libby Klysz, Nick Candy, Michelle Baginski, Brett Turner, and myself...with possibly a special guest appearing as Ref/MC....
Freo Hotel, Cliff St/High St, 9pm-1130ish, $10/8, smoke free venue, doors open at 8.30, full bar facilities...etc etc, been going strong for over a year so if you haven't checked it out yet it's about time you got a party together and came down to heckle us!
Cheers

Re: Big Hoo Haa tonight
I would just like to diffuse the popular rumour that I will be returning to the Hoo Haa! fold tonight as this reported 'special guest MC'.
No, contrary to most people's wagers, it's been a month since I left Perth and I have no immediate plans to return - really! The lovely city of Toronto is treating Meg and I wonderfully - we are settled in and are well on the way to good things.
I hope everyone is well and wish I could be there for the Hoo Haa and all the rest of what Perth has to offer, but I will remain basking in the cultural glut in this massively diverse city...
Meg sends her love to all of you who know us!

Guest MC was in fact the popular Gibson Nolte, who has relocated to Sydney but is back in Perth (to rehearse a new show 'Dogs Barking' by Shakespearience & The PTC).
It was also Brett Turner's debut at the Hoo-Haa, having not played since the original 'Spontaneous Insanity', since when he's been in the UK.
A looney time was had by all.
Glad to see you're still checking in, Toby. Be sure to let us know if there are any auditions we simply MUST fly to Toronto for...!
Cheers
