casting M/F leads in short film
Wed, 25 June 2003, 03:21 pmI am currently casting for the male and female leads in a 15min short film in Melbourne. The film is being shot for film school assesment purposes, however will also be entered into the festival circuit.
Julie: actress 18+ to play 16 -22yo. ability to play the piano a bonus, but not essential. Julie is creative, misunderstood, and wise beyond her years.
Graeme: 30-50 yo with an interesting face. Graeme is also creatively misunderstood, but also manipulative and controlling in his relationship with Julie.
Graeme and Julie are in an unconventional relationship, and through this we explore the questions of love, control and personal happiness.
Auditions will be personally scheduled in three weeks time, and shooting will commence in Sept-Oct for a 4 day period.
