Lysistrata - Reading for Peace
Fri, 14 Feb 2003, 04:02 pmVolunteers needed for LYSISTRATA PROJECT
On 03/03/03 theatre artists world-wide will speak out for peace by performing readings of the ancient Greek anti-war comedy Lysistrata by Aristophanes. Many citizens of the world do not support the war on Iraq. We want to say that loud and clear on 3rd March. Lysistrata Project is giving new meaning to the phrase “THINK GLOBALLY and ACT LOCALLY”
We will be using the version 'Aristopanes Lysistrata: A woman's translation by Drue Robinson Hagen.
