Searching for a Cheif
Wed, 4 Sept 2002, 04:52 pmI am in the very early stages of planning a production of Dale Wasserman's "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" for early next year. Before I proceed I need to solve one very difficult peice of casting. I need someone for the role of Cheif Bromden, the (seemingly) catatonic, American Indian who is built like the proverbial s#*t house. This is an important role and I feel it is very important that it is cast as close to type as humanly possible. My problem is this, 7ft American Indians who can act are a bit thin on the ground in Perth.
