How do you set up a new company?

I'm just about to finish a Small Companies and Community Theatre course, and I was just wondering if anyone had advice on how to go about setting up a theatre company and how much it would cost to set up.

I have often wondered the same thing. I used to be very serious about doing such a thing. I am still interested, but mainly in comedy more so now. I have no idea how much it will all cost, obviously wuld require very careful planning though.

I did a search on "how to incorporate" as I knew the thread was buried in Green Room Gossip on how to incoprorate. If you go to
http://theatre.asn.au/read.php3? num=8&id=3451&loc=0&thread=3451 you will see several posts. Do a search on other aspects of starting a club and you will find other areas. You need to work out how to word your searches as there is a lot of usefull ideas buried in Older Messages. Hope that helps. Don
