It is especially hard adjusting from a school environment where most or all characters are under 18.
If there is anyone out there who is interested in creating a youth musical theatre company (by the youth and for the youth), in the Fremantle, please contact me.

Myself, like other youths in theatre, would be happy to help out if one was going to be established. But another thing I have noticed is that near my area (cockburn) there are no, and I repeat, NO theatre companies in this area apart from Fremantle, Roleystone, Perth and Rockingham/Kwinana and travelling, as a youth, gets the better of me and my parents and consequently I am 'kept out' of theatre unless something close by comes along or until it has been a considerable amount of time since my last production. I would really like to see a theatre company set up in this area that can accomodate the youth, if not all ages. Melville theatre is near by but I have noticed that the casts consist mainly of mid-late 20's upwards, and nothing for the youth. If someone knows of a company that fits the bill then PLEASE let me know. In the time being, I'll just continue praying.
