After The Fringe
Mon, 18 Feb 2002, 12:49 pmI'm sorry now that I didn't attend the Fringe Awards Saturday night (especially seeing as we got one) but I had to be up early for an audition the next day...sounds like it was an interesting night!
I DID go and see the marathon 4-part-at-once showing of "Cyclone" on Sunday afternoon, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loopy, kitsch, and not taking themselves at all seriously - made for some seriously funny entertainment.
But although the Fringe is officially over, two of the shows aren't!
"COMEDY SPORTZ" still has another three performances at the Art Gallery in Northbridge, 7.00pm Thurs, Fri & Sat. Returning audience members get in for only $8 to subsequent shows...see all three and watch your average ticket price plummet!
This Thursday will be the first time an all-female team plays an all-male team...not sure if that'll be significant, but come along and pick a team to cheer for anyway.
And I believe "Little Moon of Albans" is still playing at the Irish Club, Wed-Sat.
You can go and see them on Wednesday and still fit in all three nights of Comedy Sportz!
Cheers
