congrats Filch, Fringe etc
Mon, 18 Feb 2002, 11:54 amJust thought I'd send a quick expression of appreciation onto the board here for the winners of the various Fringe awards last night, especially the well-deserving Angus for Filch (best production), After the Fair (best Australian premiere, best design)- and of course the great Steve Black for Smoke (ok, I'm biased cause I was in it, but he well and truly deserved the best performer award which he was given). It was good to see that the judges did a better job than most of the journo's at paying attention to original Australian works this year.
And on another minor point while I'm rambling - how could Cyclone get robbed so badly - starring James Dean for the last 2 episodes and they didn't get best visiting artist...sigh....
