Wanted, a young man
Thu, 7 Feb 2002, 11:32 amNo ribald comments please!
The Old Mill Theatre is still looking for a young man (Stage age early twenties) to play the vital role of Lt. David Wills in their forthcoming production of Ronald Harwood's "Taking Sides.
Please contact director Lindsay Sedgwick on 9474.2415 if interested. This is a superb dramatic play abouth the confrontation between power and culture, conscience and reason, set in post second world war Berlin.

RE: Wanted, a young man
Whoa baby I'm here -shaggadelic!!!!!!
Joking aside. I actually had to pull out of this play before the first rehearsal because of another play I'm doing for the fringe. I still have the script, and if anyone is considering taking this part, let me know through my personal email (that's the name with the blue line under it) so I can make arrangements to deliver it to you .
It is a brilliant script by Ronald Harwood (The Dresser) and regrettably I can't do it. It is one of the best plays I have read for sometime and it would be foolish for anyone to pass up unless, like me, they have other commitments.

Having a lessor part in this play I can say that
any guy who isn't busy right now,
should PLEASE at least check out Norma's request. The production is alive and very hot ! We've only had a couple of rehearsals so far and the cast are rapt and passionate about this story based on a true story. AND as a new member of The Old Mill Theatre, I can also credibly advertise the strength in depth of this club.
