1940's - anything
Fri, 25 Jan 2002, 09:05 pmI am directing a production of No Names No Packdrill at Roleystone and am in deserated need of anything from the 1940's for the set and props or for ideas of costumes.
I am also after US Marine and Air Force uniforms from that time. I know that a few company's have done A Few Good Men and was wondering what you did for uniforms and also what badges you used - or were allowed to - and where you got them from.
The show is on in March and I would really love to get everything as soon as possible. So any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
You can contact me by return email or by calling 0408 920 954.

RE: 1940's - anything
If you are in Melbourne, i think there is a place near the chapel st bazaar that specialises in period uniforms, as i swing dance and there was an event earlier on this year that was very 40's.
so try there if you are here.
hope that could help.
