RE: Finleys 2001

Hi All,

I just wanted to add a couple of thoughts on last nights ceremony.

First of all congratulations to all the winners, especially to the dark horses "Act 1, Scene 1". It was wonderful seeing such gratitude and genuine energy from these 'young people'.

I was also very happy to see brevity and appropriateness becoming the words of the day with regard to the entertainment extracts - a repeat of last years overlong ceremony would have started a riot, I'm certain. Congratulations to Geoff Leeder for his well handled work in this regard.

Thanks all for a very entertaining evening...

Kindest Regards
Jason

RE: Finleys 2001

As a long time critic of the Finley Award night may I congratulate Geoff Leeder and his team for this year's presentation night. The number and quality of the entertainment pieces was just about right and Jarrad and Sue were great examples of brevity (and in Sue's case at least, beauty!)

To be home by 1100pm was a nice surprise, and don't worry, Lynn, next year I'll get into my tux

Stuart
