Fri, 7 Dec 2001, 03:46 pmThe show that Australia has been waiting for William Finn's "A NEW BRAIN" is set to open in Melbourne mid August 2002.
The "BRAINS" behind the Australian Production are seeking expressions of interest from people wishing to broaden their experience within the Musical Theatre Industry and participate in this highly anticipated musical.
Expressions of interest for auditions are sought for performers with strong vocal and acting abilities. Age range covers 20 - 60+ and all sizes and nationalities are invited to audition.
The Producing Team have had a variety of experience in productions, including The Boy From Oz, The Australian Tours of "FAME - the musical" and "SHOUT - The Legend of the Wild One", productions staged at the Belvoir Street and Palais Theatres and with the Melbourne Theatre Company.
"A NEW BRAIN" is the second production they have collaborated on, the first being the highly successful Stephen Sondheims' "ASSASSINS" in 1998.
Please forward all expressions of interest to the following email or postal address by end of January 2002.

Surely there is a more economic way of posting your information without resorting to this "spam".
Ten identical messages in my inbox, only the titles have been changed...maybe one notice with all relevant positions advertised would've been 'brainier'?

I am interested in audition for this new production, could you please send me all of the relevent information and details for the auditions. I live in Adelaide, so I wold like to know if there will be auditions held there as well as the other states.
