If you are between 15 and 18 and interested in writing for the theatre then Loudmouth may be the chance to Get it out there!

LoudmouthÂ…
is the Barking Gecko Theatre Company project where YOU help create a full on theatre production.

LoudmouthÂ…
gives YOU the chance to work with a professional script writer Justin Cheek, and gives YOU a say in creating a play.

LoudmouthÂ…
is totally free!

LoudmouthÂ…
will examine the dangers YOU may face on the internet.

Sexual exploitation and child abuse are the most potent threats to kids who surf the internet and this project may explore these themes in an effort to create a safer internet environment.

What are we writing?
YOU will be working on the play alice@wonderland. It's the story of Alice, a teenager who gets caught up in the dangers of the Web when she befriends, a chat room stranger, an older man who's on-line name is The Mad Hatter.

How are we writing it?
If selected, YOU will attend 6 sessions at The Subiaco Theatre Centre where YOU will work with Justin, developing ideas and scenes for the play.

In one or more sessions YOU will participate in workshopping the play with actors and a director.

Are you?
Aged 15 to 17 and able to attend all six workshops

Saturday 15th Dec (All day),
Friday 11th January (3.30pm - 6.30pm),
Friday 18 January (3.30pm - 6.30pm),
Friday 25th January (3.30pm - 6.30pm),
Friday 22nd February (3.30pm - 6.30pm),
Friday 15 March (3.30pm - 6.30pm)

If you have any questions or would like an application pack please ring us on the Loudmouth hotline 9388 2611.
