"The Cuckoo has landed"
Fri, 17 Mar 2000, 02:47 pmI watched the dress rehearsal of "Cuckoo's Nest" last night and it promises to be an excellent production with mainly new faces, not only to Harbour but generally on stage. Congratulations to director Julie Blumsky and her team, she had the courage to actually advertise in the local paper for actors with or without experience. It certainly has paid off! The season starts tonight and runs until Sat. 25th. See you there!

Opening night (Friday 17th March) was very successful. A great audience. Be quick to book your tickets though as we already have 2-3 nights SOLD OUT!
In addition, to help raise money for leukemia, Morgan Wilde, who plays Ruckley in the play, shaved his head for the part. As this also coincided with Friday's Shave your Head day, Harbour Theatre has decided to collect donations during the duration of "Cuckoo's Nest" to help raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation. So do your bit for Leukemia research, and see a great play as well.
