A Friend (Paul Kidd) of mine is pushing hard to get an Animated Show up and running. He is having disagreements with his local director over the type of voice-actors to use. The director wants to use stock actors from a company that has done some dreaful work in the past and the Author/Creator disagrees, saying he would like to use local talent instead, knowing that WE could do a far better job of it, and that's from knowing ME! He would like to throw local actors at the director to get his point across.Brief Synops;
HIVE
- animated series concept.A beautiful action/romance series set in a hive of humanoid bees. Intrigue, assassination, war and tragic love. Truly a neat thing.What he is looking for;
"Gonna need some female voices. Some rather powerful ones. If you know anyone
with sample tapes etc, slip them to me sometime for use as ammunition
(producer and I are toying with using a local sound studio and finding
acting talent WAY outside the usual animation community!)"Probable parts needed for trailer:"Queen Zaala:
An absolute ruler now on her last legs... Mid 40's, but ailing."General Hzzzra:
Female general (c. 40 yo) - a "queen maker"."Princess Niirsha:
Militaristic, fiery princess - sarcastic, militant, sometimes acidic -
passionate.If you have voice over experience or know of someone who does, get in contact with me. This guy really does some great work (art and Story Writing) and I would also like to see more local productions "getting-off-the-ground".Jeff "Assistant Scout" Watkins
