Theatre 451 is currently seeking submissions for its 2014 season of: A Play, A Pie and A Pot “A Play, A Pie and A Pot” is a Theatre 451 event running from January 2014 to September 2014. Each month an unpublished one-act play will be performed in multiple alternative venues in Melbourne, followed by a pie and a pot during a Q & A session with the writer (where possible), actors and director. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Please email artisticdirector@theatre451.com for a submission pack, with ‘PPP SUBMISSION PACK’ in the subject line Plays can have been performed at other venues/festivals Plays should have no more than three actors Minimal set/props Plays should be a minimum duration of 35 minutes, maximum of 45 minutes Deadline for first round submissions is 25 October 2013 WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THEATRE 451? No charge for submissions Showcase your work in multiple venues in Melbourne and rural Victoria A collaborative working process - an opportunity to work closely during the rehearsal process to ensure that your vision is presented on stage An opportunity to receive audience feedback during Q & A sessions A chance to win $500 (audience choice award)
