Auditions will be at the Masonic Hall, cnr Broadway and Stirling Hwy Nedlands.

Jack Tuesday: the grocer's boy who becomes a J.C. Williamson's chorus boy; doubled with
Harry Tuesday, his twin brother, the shearer who becomes shell shocked war hero
Polly Perkins, the Town beauty, jack's sweeetheart and the shop keeper's daughter; doubled with
Lilly Perkins, know as Touch of the Tar, Harry's sweetheart and the half caste half sister of Polly
Miss Clarry Hummer, the ex-wardrobe mistress of JC Williamson's, now the town dressmaker; doubled with
The Widow Tuesday, Jack and Harry's mother; a Dickensian lady
Miss Clemmy Hummer, ex-tightrope walker from Wirth's Circus, now mistress of ceremonies for the night people
Edie Perkins, Polly's deaf mother, a reciter of ballads
Eek Perkins, Mukinupin storekeeper and Polly's father; doubled with
Zeek Perkins, his twin brother, a water diviner and stargazer
Mercy Montebello, an ageing Shakespearean actress, who marries Cecil Brunner
Cecil Brunner, travelling salesman in manchester goods and lingerie; doubled withMax Montebello, Italian actor/manager; and
The Flasher, town flasher and madman
