Barry Page

Just heard not long ago that Barry Page died earlier today. Our chance meeting some five years ago, led to numerous discussions re theatre, and all it's trappings. I loved the old buggers enthusiasm for the stage, his arms whirling much like a Dalek as wide eyed, he relayed details of the many productions he'd been involved with. I'm pleased that not long ago I took a trip down to his home one Saturday,...so he could show me DVD's of previous productions. Seventeen hours later, I left most impressed. I'm positive he and Mr Williams will spend numerous hours arguing over who was the more talented and handsome. Always one to sit on the fence I'd say it was a dead heat. The curtains have drawn once again, but me thinks the stage lights remain on. Goodbye my friend. Until next we meet. Condolences to Lorraine and family. JG

I just heard that Barry Page has lost his fight. I loved the enthusiasm for the stage,during his appearance in the Rockingham Tivoli Theatre at our last show of this year and the tremondous courage he showed while up on the stage. I'm pleased I had the opportunity to work with him and his wife The curtains have drawn once again, but I know the stage lights remain on. Condolences to Lorraine Love Pauline
