RIP Edgar Metcalfe
Thu, 13 Sept 2012, 03:54 pmI have just been personally informed that Edgar Metcalfe, respected actor and director, has passed away after recently being diagnose with Cancer. He passed at about 3:30pm this afternoon and was in the company of friends.

Even though Edgar had several decades of experience, he always had a smile and time of day for everyone around him.
We will miss his smile.

Farewell Edgar- a job well done here
Many will remember him for his love of theatre on both sides of the equator here on earth. Now he has crossed over another equator. Farewell Edgar

Farewell Edgar
Such sad news. He was always so kind to me when I arrived in Perth to study at WAPPA. One very fond memory was sitting in his packed lounge room watching the first episode of BRIDESHEAD REVISTED and us all sitting their in stunned silence at the glory of it. He was an actor of fine capability and it was a pleasure to know him and work with him. He was also a charming host and great cook. A fine gentleman.
