Have you always wanted to study acting, but never had the time to do a full-time course?
Would you like to study at one of Australia's premier physical theatre schools? Then why not come to Perth? Total Theatre is a professional school where performers of all ages are learning to live their dreams.
Where else can you ride a unicycle, sing an aria, stand on your head, tap dance on a table, beat on a drum, recite Shakespeare, juggle plates AND learn to relax?
Total Theatre has established a unique reputation as one of Australia's outstanding physical training opportunities, successfully bringing together some of the best specialist teachers and practitioners in the profession.
Our courses cater not only for experienced performers and professionals but also for beginners stepping into the world of performance for the first time.
Graduates of Total Theatre have gone on to work with some of Perth’s foremost theatre companies whilst others have created solo work, formed independent theatre companies, or taken their work to theatre, comedy and street arts festivals around the world. Others have continued their training accepting positions at WAAPA, VCA, NIDA and NICA
NOW ENROLLING – 2012 Two-Month Physical Theatre Intensive
15th October - 5th December 2012. Now Enrolling
The Training runs 3 days per week - Mon, Tue and Wed, 9.30 am to 5pm.
This exceptional course provides a unique opportunity for those wishing to train in a wide range of exciting performance skills in a more condensed form.
Course includes: Theatre, Mime, Dance, Feldenkrais, Improvisation, Circus Arts, Aerial Skills, Voice, Singing, Stage Combat, Martial Arts, Clowning and Commedia dell'Arte.
Training is open to those aged 17yrs+. There are no formal qualifications required.
The audition process is a simple one and we accept DVD’s if you cannot come in person.
