Ladies and not gentlemen can we have your attention (seeking middle aged actors)
Tue, 5 June 2012, 06:15 pmAuditions for my new play are set down for next Saturday the 16th June. We currently have plenty of room for middle aged female actors wishing to audition for the roles of 4 middle-aged northern english working class tarts...
Note: The four cast members are fifty one years old, so in answer to those younger actors who've contacted me, yes, it would be a stretch for anyone below 40, sorry girls...........
1: Q: Do you have to be English' to audition for the roles?
Ans: No you don't; whilst newly arrived actors from the North of England would have a slight advantage, we're keen to hear from enthusiastic girls wishing to have a load of fun, whilst having a stab at a Northen twang.
2: Q: Is the play any good:
Ans: Being modest, I can tell you it''s absolutley BRILLIANT!!!! Come on, what else am I going to say, ha! It's a fun piece, think Shirley Valentine, Julie Walters in Educating Rita, any of the girls in 'Shameless.'
3: Q: Can I read a copy of the script?
Ans: It's a pre-requisite for gaining an audition.
For more refer audition notices on this site.
cheers
