Hi Peoples,

Is it just me being a virtual Luddite and not coping with all this new gadgetry or are there glaring flaws in the functionality of the new look of the ITA on the internet?

www.ita.org.au is the link I have ....... is there perhaps another??

The reason I ask is that a quick flit around the new site left me wondering if I had the right place or not.....

No performances listed under the "What's On" section and similarly no auditions either...

or maybe it is just a broken link??

Seems a shame after the wonderful sell that it was given at the Finley's.

Technically speaking, this Theatre Australia is not affiliated with ITA. The ITA have and do support this site, and many have long associated the two together. This means that the ITA page you are referring to will refer to ITA Specific information and events, not theatre in general.

Grant or an ITA Rep may be able to provided a more thorough explanation.

for clearing that up... I (as have no doubt others) for so long referred to this at the "ITA site" that I completely forgot that it actually isn't.

Hi Graeme Also in my speech I said that the what's on and audition section would be by application and won't be a direct copy of the same information on this site. This new website is for the corporate face of the ITA and as I said on the night is not designed to replace or mirror the theatre.asn.au site. The what's on and auditions will still continue to be printed in the link as they appear in this site but as clubs send us there information for inclusion it will be updated with more what's on and audition on the corporate site.. As more events and information is decided on after the agm more will appear on the corporate site. Thanks Ryan

Hello Graeme Thank you for your original posting and I see that subsequent messages have cleared things up. Just to add that a dedicated ITA Finley Awards page is currently in design and will be added to the site in the coming weeks (as will other changes to the site). In the meantime, the 2011 Finley Award results as well as a list of previous winners may be downloaded in PDF format. The documents may be accessed from the Latest News panel on the Home page - click on the 2011 Finley Awards story... If you have any more questions, there is an email form on the Contact page.
