Old Mill Theatre is in need of 7 old style hockey sticks for their forthcoming production of Daisy Pulls it Off. The play is set in England in the 1930's

Does any one have any in the back of a cupboard somewhere we could borrow

Any suggestions welcome, show starts on November 25th so we need them pretty soon!

Any information, either to oldmilltheatre@iinet.net.au or to Norma 0402.249.249

Thanks in advance!

Whynot contact a local

Why not contact a local girls schhool, or a mob playing on the localpark & even ofer a couple of comps or do a deal for a charity night &/or whatever with the school?
You might be able to do a deal on Gym slips 'n even suthsepda belts!:naughty:

Why not contact

We're OK on the gym-slips Joe, but so far no luck with the hockey-sticks.

We have contacted schools and the various hockey clubs- no go so far!

Sounds like you need to

Sounds like you need to start making some. Get the jigsaw out, Norma. www.meltheco.org.au

Ya can always ask howell to

Ya can always ask howell to make up a few dummy ones, after all the graetest strain on the sticks would be  practing to bully off!

Use a bike inner tube on the handle, rather than winding on twine. as a grip.

Jolly hockey sticks Norma!

Asking Hywel

Well we just might- IF he was in the country!

He's away brushing up on his Welsh at the moment.

Ah he's off sunning himself

Ah he's off sunning himself in   Cymru (Llanelli)!

Surely there is someone knocking about at the Aude Mill that could duff up some for the show.
