Call for 2012

Call for Directors for next year

Along with many of the local theatres, the Old Mill Theatre in South Perth would like to hear from prospective directors who  would like to submit a play/musical for production for 2012.

We have several show that have been submitted but we would like more. we like to produce an eclectic mix of the tried and true, the way -out, the controversial, the daring, the new and the old so if you have any of the above that you are longing to see on-stage, now is the time!

We want submissions by April 22 please so that we can decide by mid-year the programme for 2012.

This is what we need from you:

Name & contact details (obviously)

Previous experience ( if we don't already know you)

Titles and resume of the play or plays you wish to submit (in order of preference if more than one)

Genre & number of cast and any perceived/possible  problems in staging (it's a fairly small stage, but we managed S Pacific & Fiddler on it so don't be deterred)

Name of agent to approach for permission (if known)

Copy of the script- electronic version if possible

Time (s) of the year in which you are interested ( 6 seasons per year)
