Behind The Wire: Ellandar Perspectives
"Behind The Wire" is a fundraiser to help Ellandar Productions with our planned 2011 season. After the professional and financial success of the contemporary fringe work "A Night Of Deceit" Ellandar as a collective has plans for a three-show season including but not limited to transporting "A Night Of Deceit" to Melbourne for the December Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Not only that but Ellandar Productions has already started production on their first film project "The Life Of Cardboard" a surrealist selection of three-short films on the unhealthy co-dependence between a socially inept individual and cardboard. "The Life Of Cardboard" Promotional Short Film will be screened at "Behind The Wire" featuring:
Luke Brennan
Remi Young
Tain Molendijk
Elyshia Yeap
AND
Fern Nicholson
The rest of the evening will feature up to 20 performance spots which will include original contemporary monologues, non-mainstream musical theatre pieces and presentations of original solo choreography.
There will be time to mingle with the actors and each-other afterwards at the bar! The event will be located at Subiaco Community Centre (NOT ARTS CENTRE) 203 Bagot Rd. and will be on Saturday 23rd April.
