Seeking writers

Australian puppeteers have been responsible from many of the most memorable performances and cherished characters in Australian performing arts history onstage including the Tintookies, Handspan, Polyglot and Snuff Puppets, and on television including Ozzie Ostrich, Agro, Mr Squiggle and Rubbery Figures. Australian Puppeteer is Australia’s only magazine dedicated to the art of puppetry. Printed by UNIMA Australia, Australian Puppeteer has been reporting on developments in Australian Puppetry since the 1970’s. In celebration of four decades of Australian Puppetry, Australian Puppeteer is widening its distribution, broadening its focus and accepting submissions from any writer with an interest in puppetry.
