All 3 shows of Spontaneous Insanity and Subiaco Arts Centre present – IN A NEW YORK MINUTE are SOLD OUT! Due to overwhelming demand, a special LATE show, 10pm this Saturday 6 November. The fully improvised show is inspired by the concept of a New York Minute, and the Don Henley song of the same name. IN A NEW YORK MINUTE is a two act, full length play. IN A NEW YORK MINUTE is unscripted theatre – pushing the art form of improvisation beyond only the comedy genre. There will be no games, no teams and no scores. The show will be directed live on stage by sage impro veteran Glenn Hall together with Musical Director and WAMi award winning cellist, Tristen Parr – who will lead a three piece improvising band. The show’s cast is drawn from Spontaneous Insanity’s working ensemble, and each night features a different cast made up of 16 of Perth’s most daring improvising actors, comedians and singers, including Libby Hammer, Shane Adamczak, Louisa Fitzhardinge, Craig Williams, Rhoda Lopez, Brianna Williams, Emmet Nichols, Lee Sheppard, Mel Bennett and Courtney Sage Hart – just to name some!
