Would you buy a house before reading the contract first? If the answer is no, why do you not apply the same commonsense to signing with an agent?
As I say, there is plenty of information on the net about agencies in general to make up your own mind. (And there are, indeed, reports on the net about people getting/not getting jobs with MBC - just not on this site)
